Southern Industrial Repair offers machine welder calibration and certification. Each welding machine is load tested for proper output and all meters are certified for accuracy.
How often is calibration needed?
It is recommended that your welder is calibrated every year to ISP 9000 standards.
Calibration vs. Certification
When you calibrate a meter, you are simply verifying that the meter is accurate within tolerances, and if not, you adjust it to make it accurate.
Certifying the meter means supplying a "paper trail" showing that the calibrated meter can now be traced back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) through your testing equipment. This simply means that you need a source to certify your meter.*
